Mother Love Bone song, “Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns”. From their 1989 EP, Shine. (“Crown of Thorns” appeared on the band’s only album in 1990, Apple, as a stand alone track)

I have to say, this is the best song ever created along with Love, Hate, Love by Alice in Chains, both are pure perfection to my ears and heart.

@ejilly6….it is a very good solid album, would have been awesome to see the band mature with new albums. Too bad that was never going to be. There was a fun/silliness to the songs, even when they were serious. Andrew was a good song writer still coming into his own.

I get chills everytime I hear this. I get tears in my eyes when Andy sings “a dream like this must die”

Andrew Wood and Mother Love Bone stared the grunge rock. I hope even though he was a tortured soul he gets his due.

He was the “Rock Star” of that whole Seattle scene, ask anyone who was there at the time, he had the aura of a huge Star, he was a Fallen Angel, You left far too soon Mr Wood………RIP!
