Mother Love Bone song, “Chloe Dancer / Crown of Thorns”. From their 1989 EP, Shine. (“Crown of Thorns” appeared on the band’s only album in 1990, Apple, as a stand alone track)

I have to say, this is the best song ever created along with Love, Hate, Love by Alice in Chains, both are pure perfection to my ears and heart.
wonderful song,partly the reason for calling my newborn daughter Chloe.
@ejilly6….it is a very good solid album, would have been awesome to see the band mature with new albums. Too bad that was never going to be. There was a fun/silliness to the songs, even when they were serious. Andrew was a good song writer still coming into his own.
Its sad how a hole genre got killed off by heroine
ROX!!
I get chills everytime I hear this. I get tears in my eyes when Andy sings “a dream like this must die”
I meant to say Shannon Hoon
Woods voice sounds like Axl Rose mixed with Shannon Moon
AMAZING !!!!
@doug8328 This is from 1989
Andrew Wood and Mother Love Bone stared the grunge rock. I hope even though he was a tortured soul he gets his due.
This is much better than the Pearl Jam version
If there is a heaven, there should be special spot for Andrew Wood
I dont like the whole song…i just love the first minute and a half. Magnificent
He was the “Rock Star” of that whole Seattle scene, ask anyone who was there at the time, he had the aura of a huge Star, he was a Fallen Angel, You left far too soon Mr Wood………RIP!
