I can see many getting stunned after seeing the title of my post. But I am having valid reasons and doubts to raise this question.

If we all remember correctly, on June 4, 2007 – Matt blogged about “Five things that you didn’t know about Google Search”

On his post he mentioned the names of few more other Googlers [Amit Singhal and Jianfei Zhu] who are working with him on the improvisation.

I can make 2 things from his comments. 1^st He has shown his true nice nature by giving credit to others who are really working hard for the improvement of Google Search and the 2^nd is he has indicated that in the near future we can follow their comments and views the way we have been doing his.

We have to accept the fact that one day he has to retire and once he is gone Google would need someone in the picture like him who can share their vision to the webmasters.

I am taking this move as a true Google move….They have always got their back covered.
