Google has taken one step ahead and now have started offering the things offline as well. This can be possible with the new plugin “Google Gears”.

I can see a link at the top right corner of my Google Reader, which says “Offline (New)”

This feature enables you to read your 2000 most recent items even when your computer is not connected to the internet. To use the offline features of Google Reader, you will first need to install the Google Gears plug-in for your browser.

On the Mac, Google Gears is just a regular Firefox extension; on the PC it’s a full-blown application (.exe installer.)
I am impressed with this new plugin and feel you would also be on the same page.
