We all know about Google and how easily its has taken control of this web world. This time it has gone up step further to make it more flexible for mobile users who want to access their mails on their mobiles. It has released Gmail for mobile users. It’s a Java based application which can be easily downloadable and it has a same look as Gmail has. With this release, Google has once again showed his intention of providing users with quick and easy access to the information they need.
Previously, Gmail was accessible through the browser on their mobile devices, this application brings users the same great Gmail experience — complete with search, conversation view, and automatic synchronization with the desktop version — with additional benefits as well:
- Up to five times faster access and use, thanks to automatic pre-fetching of messages.
- Drastically reduced clicks and scrolling to access email.
- Fewer keystrokes for reading, composing, or searching mail.
- Attachments, including files and photos, viewable and automatically resized to fit the user’s phone.
From your mobile, go to http://www.google.com/mobile/index.html and download the app. a gmail account is obviously required.
The application is available completely free of charge from Google (carrier mobile data charges may still apply). It is currently compatible with all J2ME-enabled phones in the U.S. and works with a variety of carrier service plans.
Happy Googleing…..

I had a problem with my V800 I got a “certificate not valid†error. Finally I solved the problem and enjoyed in yet another excellent app from Google. The only problem is that you can use it only for checking GMail account. With another program that I use http://movamail.com/ I watch my other accounts. I will try to think of a reason why should I use Gmail mobile. When I can do all off that on my old app Movamail
