Customer Reviews has slowly become a powerful tool for E-Marketers. This is something which should be embraced rather than feared.

Always expect to see both positive and negative reviews; even your consumers want it the same way. They are very much in hunt for any kind of reviews. Hiding or deleting negative reviews can result in consumers questioning the integrity of the reviews and feedback they see.

An Honest and a Savvy business always welcome honest reviews (positive or negative). Providing response to the any of the feedbacks esp. to negative feedbacks gives out a positive idea to your consumers about your dedication in improving your product or services and that builds consumer confidence and loyalty.

I think all E-Commerce websites should have the section where their Consumers can share their thoughts and feedback about the product and services they are offering. This can be blessings in disguise for them. This way they can really work closely with their Consumers to bring more value to their product and services. For someone in service industries, they can offer a blog or forums where people can post thoughts, comments, feedback, reviews, etc.

My experience strongly recommends offering customer reviews. Consumers respond positively to websites that offer honest reviews and are over 80% more likely to shop on such websites.

Do not let the fear of negative reviews stop you from including product reviews and service reviews on your website.
